TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL USERS ON
PUBLIC BRIDLEWAY NO. 31 IN THE PARISH OF BRERETON AND PUBLIC BRIDLEWAY NO. 5 IN THE PARISH OF HOLMES CHAPEL
Notice is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport in pursuance of the power conferred upon him by sub-section (5) of the aforementioned Section 15 has approved the Order effective from the 4th April 2018 being extended and continuing in force until 4th October 2022.
The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit all users on that length of Public Bridleway No 31 in the Parish of Brereton which commences at the junction of Brereton Bridleway No.27 at O.S. grid reference SJ 7958 6654, and runs in a generally north westerly direction for a total distance of approximately 2180 metres to O.S grid reference SJ 7793 6724 and continues for approximately 920 metres in a generally westerly direction as Public Bridleway No.5 in the Parish of Holmes Chapel to the junction of the A535 Macclesfield Road at O.S. grid reference SJ7710 6729 as indicated on the closure plan by a solid bold black line.
The closure is necessary to prevent the likelihood of danger to the public from riverbank erosion.
