COUNCIL FINANCES & POLICY

The Parish Council is financed through the Parish Precept. The precept is collected by Cheshire East Council as part of the Council Tax and for 2022/23 the precept is £20,500.00 which equates to £24.40 for a Band D property.  For 2023/24 precept of £22,500 was agreed, on a tax base of 869.66. Dividing the precept by the tax base gives £25.58 on a Band D property. An increase of just 0.7% on the previous year and well below the current rate of inflation.

Payments made by the Council are published in the Council’s minutes and the Council does not own any land or buildings. You can view copies of the Annual Audit and full Accounts for complete financial years to the right.
