NOTICE OF TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – S14 (2) ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers issues this notice temporarily to prohibit traffic in the following length of road:-
Bradwall Road, Brereton Rural Ward, Bradwall, from the junction of Cledford Lane to the junction of Hollinsgreen.
It is anticipated that the works will take place on the following date(s): Monday 23rd September 2024 to Friday 27th September 2024.
The alternative route will be via the following streets: – Bradwall Road, Cledford Lane, Jones Lane.

The closure is necessary for works to be carried out by Cheshire East.
Smethwick Lane, Brereton Rural Ward, Brereton, from the outside of Smethwick Hall to the junction of Sandbach Road.
The alternative route will be via the following streets: – Sandbach Road, Wolstenholme Elmy Way, Holmes Chapel Road, Moss Lane, Smethwick Lane

The closure is necessary for Cheshire East Highways to carry out Drainage investigations
It is anticipated that the works will take place on the following date(s): Monday 14th October 2024 to Friday 18th October 2024.
